The NEXX X.WED3 is a full face motorcycle helmet that's intended for adventure riders. It's loaded with features and technology that will keep riders happy even in the most extreme conditions. It has been tested by more than 60 adventure riders in extreme locations like Alaska, Croatia, Baja California, Ha Giang, and the Merzouga desert in Morocco. It comes equiped with a visor, drop down sun visor, and a peak. All of those parts can be removed to meet the demands of your journey. For example, you can easily pop out the visor and retract the sun visor if you'd like to use goggles. The new X Foam crash bumpers are soft and round to help prevent injury to the collar bone in case of an accident. The NEXX X.WED3 is available with either a carbon fiber shell, or the X-Matrix 2 shell which is a multi layer composite. 3 different shell sizes are available so you'll get a comfortable fit. It's equipped with 7 closable air intakes and 4 exhaust outlets so you can get the internal temperature just right. The helmet uses a spring-loaded visor recoil system which pulls the visor toward the helmet for a perfect air-tight seal. The drop down sun visor is 18% bigger compared to the older model and is great for riding on sunny days. The peak is aerodynamically optimized, easily adjustable, and easily removable. The anti-vibration EPS features a rubber trim between the inner an outer EPS. This reduces helmet vibrations and offers a more comfortable ride. The materials used to create the interior padding were carefully chosen. The goal is to make an ultra comfortable interior with good ventilation and durability. The air combs create a chamber between the padding and the liner for added ventilation. The new Fast Release System (F.R.S), allows first responders to simultaneously remove both cheek pads quickly and without any tools. The helmet is compatible with the new X-COM3 Bluetooth intercom system.
